"Allison is a joy to work with both on and off stage; not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also a dedicated teammate and advocate for underrepresented voices. Allison is a risk-taker, and gave her all to an incredibly challenging, constantly-evolving role when she worked with Moxie Arts NY on the premier of Monica Raymond's play, The Owl Girl, in 2019. Allison performs without fear - I would work with her again in a heartbeat." Kayla Friend - Artistic Director, Moxie Arts NY
"Allison becomes the heart of the cast and her work got lighter and lighter as the process went on. I loved how she got into the frivolity of her character [of Sonia in SIX PASSIONATE WOMEN] to make her moments work. She's such a thrilling person to have in the cast.” John Gould Rubin - Artistic Director, The Private Theatre

Review of Polly Teale's BRONTË by Sean Patrick, Taming of the Review

"Allison Akmajian smartly portrays Emily’s quieter but no less indomitable spirit, managing simultaneously to lament and accept without judgment her inability to conform. Akmajian’s dialect work is commendable, and greatly assisted the audience in decoding the convention of main characters occasionally shifting into vignette roles."
